Histon and Impington Community Events 2024

  • Open Gardens June 2024

We were delighted to take part and open our gardens for this great local fundraiser. It was the third time we have participated and would like to thank the Open Garden Committee for all their hard work in putting on such an amazing local event.

We will not be hosting our September Dahlia Show this year as Open Gardens replaced this local event for 2024.

  • Local Tea Party Fun - Get in Touch to see if we can help!

We enjoy playing a part in the community, especially hosting tea parties for local groups which brings lots of laughter and fun to all those involved. In the last 12 months we have hosted tea parties for The H and I Men’s Shed, The local Dementia Group, many older residents groups, and we were proud to host the launch of the new Histon and Impington Holiday at Home initiative in July 2022.

If you work for a local charity and think we might be able to spread a little joy, then do get in touch and we will do our best. In most cases there is zero cost to the charity and all costs are covered by us but it will depend on availability and size.

If you would like to volunteer to help at these small charity events then please email us at histonmanor@gmail.com.

  • Snowdrop Walk at The Manor - February

Each February wonderful naturalised snowdrops emerge through the foliage, dotted along the banks of the moat and throughout the woodlands.

We host a charity fundraiser each February inviting local residents to enjoy a snowdrop walk around the grounds and then warm up with tea, cake and a chat in the Manor’s kitchen.

The 2025 date will be set early in the new year.

In just three years this snowdrop event has already raised over £4000.00 for some wonderful causes. Thank you to everyone who has supported it.
